Fundraising Committee/Booth Leader Meeting Minutes
July 15, 2026
21 Club Dinner-Saturday, October 17, 2026-Ticket sales reported at over 800 and slow. Discussion was held about net profit, declining ticket sales and another seller resigning. Vote was taken to have October 21 Club cycle and dinner be the last, the committee agreed it is no longer a feasible fundraiser for the Parish. Requests will be made in the bulletin for parishioners to submit fundraising ideas to replace 21 Club.
Turkey Bingo-Saturday, November 14-2026-No discussion.
Ham Bingo-Saturday, March 6, 2027-Discussion was held to have a ham bingo on this date in the same format as previous ham bingo. Tentative doors open 6 pm, early birds 6:30 and bingo 7 pm
Paddle Party-Saturday, April 3, 2027-Discussion was held to move paddle party to this date, Jenny will check with Pauline that Center is available.
Marianna’s Hoagie Sale-Discussion was held regarding an August Marianna’s hoagie sale, Jenny will each out to Marianna’s to determine open dates.
Patriot Day Festival-September 13, 2026, 10:30 am-4 pm-Discussion held about timing for Festival and it was decided that with new mass time and based on last year’s attendance time will be 10:30 am – 4 pm.
Tents-All tents are in pole building no new tents needed this year.
Music-Moore Brothers have been confirmed, awaiting confirmation of 1-3 time slot.
Posters/Advertising-JoAnn is in charge of advertising and Posters. She will be working on ads and will have posters available to distribute locally, posters will be in bride’s room in back of church.
Small Games of Chance-Michelle and Jim will be in charge of this area
Children’s Booth-Jenny read email from Holly that Ice Cream truck is coming, and inflatable section will include 30 foot obstacle course, axe throw, 13 x 13 bounce house and soccer game at a cost of $450. Amazon wish list is out and JoAnn reported she has seen orders arriving at rectory already.
Dime Pitch-Stacy is in charge of the dime pitch.
Beer Tent-Marjann and Rusty will run this booth, no discussion at this time.
Cake Wheel-Jenny reported Grace family will run this booth, bets will be $2 and it was also noted we need more donations this year.
Basket Raffle-Shelly and Sheila will be in charge and will be putting out envelopes and boxes for donations in coming weeks. Shelly and Michelle will coordinate business donation request list to ensure we’re not asking same businesses for multiple donations.
Kitchen-Joyce reported menu is choice of two dinners: halupki dinner of 2 halupki, mashed potatoes, vegetable and roll or a roast beef dinner of roast beef, mashed potatoes, vegetable and roll, either dinner is $12. Ala carte items of 1 halupki $4, 3 pierogies for $3, haluskhi $4, hot dog $2, hamburger $4, French fries $3, cake $1, drinks $1. Discussion held regarding workers and it was decided each Festival volunteer will receive a meal ticket for 1 meal or a combination of ala carte items and a beverage.
Food Trucks-Jenny reported as noted earlier Paulette’s Ice Cream Truck will be on site and Perky Pup Coffee truck is coming this year.
Cash Raffle-Tickets are for sale $100 ticket to win $10,000.
T shirts-Jenny noted if booth leaders have new workers let her know so she can get Festival tshirts.
Evangelizaiton-Booth will be right inside door and area of items for sale in classroom near kitchen.
Office-Michelle, Jen B, Cindy and Mary Ann H agreed to wok this area.
Set up_Friday, September 11 at 6:30 to bake any desserts (if needed) for kitchen
Saturday, September 12 at 10 am tent and booth set up
Sunday, September 13 at 8 am booth prep
At 4 pm booth tear down
